Terry Keith Clark passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 26, 2026, in Olathe, Kansas. He was 83 years old.
Born on November 18, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to Oliver Clark and Betty (Courtney) Licci, Terry was a man known for his cheerfulness, quick wit, his love for a good story, and an unwavering devotion to his family.
In 1966, Terry married the love of his life, Karen Kay (Kenney) Clark. Together, they built a life full of adventure, traveling from the glaciers of Alaska to the beaches of Hawaii. One of his greatest joys was watching his beloved daughter, Amber, grow and eventually have a family of her own, and then watching his grandchildren, Faith and Clark, grow into the loved young adults they are today.
Terry’s professional journey took him to Chicago, where he worked as a General Manager for Griffin Wheels. His career eventually took him to the sunnier shores of Southern California, a place he grew to love so much that he chose to stay even after Griffin closed this location. He eventually retired following a dedicated career as the Fleet Inventory Manager for the City of Riverside.
At home, Terry was happiest lounging in his pool, barbequing for his family, golfing, oil painting and studying historical books from the library.
Terry was a "vibrant talker" who loved to reminisce about his youth and tell jokes that could light up any room. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Karen, his parents, and his brother, Tim Clark.
He is survived by his daughter, Amber Lea Clark-Mazurier; his brother, Darren Cook; his grandchildren, Faith and Clark Mazurier; and five nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life:
