Michael W. Curran, age 70 , of Kansas City, MO, passed away on November 24, 2021.

He was born on March 18, 1951, in St. Louis, MO, to Jack and Mary Curran. After graduating from McBride High School in St Louis, he earned his undergraduate degree from Benedictine College and his MBA from Rockhurst University. He spent his last 24 working years at Fairbanks,Inc.

Mike enjoyed his life. He required little, gave much, and had few complaints. Many things made him happy – his family, friends, the mountains, the beach, National Parks, camping/hiking, coaching soccer, Sunday night prayer group, volunteering at St. Peter’s, trivia/crossword puzzles, his McCarthy #18, chocolate, and always being on time.

Mike is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jane, children Emily (Bryan) Bedrosian, Jack (Nichole),and Patrick, grandchildren Oliver & Alice Bedrosian, and Annie Curran, his brothers Pat (Jane), Jay (Carol), and Kevin (Laura), the Curran and McCarthy families, plus many other relatives and friends.

We are grateful for the compassionate care of our in-home caregiver, Mike Cisneros, and later the team at Sunrise of Leawood and Ascend Hospice. If you wish to make a donation in Mike’s memory, please consider the Alzheimers’Association, 3846 West 75th Street #4126, Prairie Village, KS. 66208 or online at alz.org.
