In Memory Of
Michael L. "Mike" Pritchett
1979 - 2021

Michael Lee Pritchett, 41, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on the afternoon of February 21, 2021. Mike was born on August 11, 1979 in Lincoln, NE to his loving parents, Raymond K. Pritchett and Carol A. Pritchett.

Mike grew up in Overland Park, KS and attended Walnut Grove Elementary School, Pioneer Trail Junior High School, and St. Thomas More Prep School in Hays, KS. He attended college at Fort Hays State University and ultimately graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City with a bachelor's degree in business. Soon after graduating, Mike launched a career in transportation logistics. On October 25, 2019, Mike married the love of his life, Naomi Madearis.

From a young age Mike had a gift for music and a passion for sports that he inherited from his dad. In his adulthood, this passion translated into Mike becoming a lifelong, diehard Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan. Mike had an extensive array of close friends who stuck by his side through good and bad, and who Mike appreciated even more than they might have known.

Mike is survived by his wife, Naomi Pritchett of Kansas City, MO; parents Ray Pritchett (Nancy) of Lenexa, KS and Carol Pritchett of Gardner, KS; and brother David (Amy, Emma, Jack) of Durango, CO. He was preceded in death by his grandparents John and Esther Cler of Grand Island, NE.
