Yiche Xing 邢仪澈

Yiche Xing (1930–2026)

Yiche Xing passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, in Kansas City, Kansas, surrounded by his loved ones. Born into a wealthy family on October 22, 1930, in Suzhou, China, Yiche was a devoted family man, an accomplished structural engineer, and a cherished husband, father, and grandfather. His family moved to Shanghai in 1937, and he relocated to the United States in 2021, where he lived until his passing.

Early Life & Career Yiche attended St. John’s Middle School before pursuing his passion for engineering at St. John’s University and Tongji University. After earning his degree, he joined the East China Power Design Institute as a power plant structural engineer.

Throughout his career, Yiche played a pioneering role in bringing electricity to numerous regions across China for the first time. His innovative power plant design standards continue to be utilized in China today.

Personal Life Outside of his professional work, Yiche was an avid enthusiast of music, photography, and board games. Those closest to him remembered him as thoughtful, intelligent, and above all, deeply family-oriented.

Words cannot express the profound grief of his immediate family over the passing of Mr. Xing, Yiche. This brief tribute is dedicated in heartfelt memory and solemn remembrance of him.

Survived by:

 His loving wife, Maner Sheng.

Son Ting Xing, daughter-in-law Qianging Fu, and grandsons Alvin and Rex Xing.

Daughter Lin Xing, son-in-law Yonetamari Takeshi, and grandson Yonetamari Masashi.

Son Zhen Xing, daughter-in-law Ma Ying, and granddaughter Weiyun Xing.

邢仪澈先生于2026年9月11日在美国堪萨斯州堪萨斯城安详离世，享年96岁，至亲陪伴在侧。邢先生于1930年10月22日出生于苏州殷实人家，于1937年举家迁入上海，2021年迁居美国直到过世，是一位顾家的好长辈、杰出的结构工程师，也是备受爱戴的丈夫、父亲与祖父。

生平与事业

邢先生曾就读于圣约翰中学，随后先后在圣约翰大学和同济大学深造，追寻其对工程学的热爱。毕业后，他进入华东电力设计院，担任电力设计结构工程师。

在职业生涯中，邢先生开创性地参与了中国多个先前未通电地区的首批发电厂建设。他当年参与制定的许多创新电厂设计标准，至今仍在中国沿用。

个人生活

 在工作之余，邢先生热爱生活，倾心于音乐、摄影和棋类游戏。至亲好友眼中的他，睿智严谨、个性稳重，更是一位极其顾家、心系亲人、重视家庭的好长辈。

对于邢公仪澈的辞世，至亲悲痛之心溢于言表，谨以此略志聊表哀思与悼念。
