William M. Knapp, affectionately known as Bill, was born on March 29, 1962, in Kansas City, Missouri. He departed this world on January 29, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Bill was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Kathie Knapp, and a nurturing father to his children: Jim Curry, Jamie Robinson, and Jeff Curry. He took immense pride in his role as a dad, fostering strong bonds with his family, and giving his all to be present in their lives. As a poppy and great-grandfather, he relished the joys of family gatherings, creating lasting memories with his granddaughters Ema, Bailey, and Balynda, as well as his three great-granddaughters.

Outside of his family life, Bill had a passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether it was sitting by the bonfire, exploring nature, or indulging in delicious barbecues and hearty breakfasts. He cherished every moment shared with loved ones, emphasizing the importance of connection and togetherness.

A man who held family values close to his heart, Bill also shared a bond with his siblings, John Knapp and Linda Forbes. He is welcomed in eternity by his parents, John H. Knapp and Dorothy J. Knapp, along with his brother Rick Knapp, nephew Michael Knapp, and niece Wendy Knapp.

Bill's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. His dedication to family, love for the outdoors, and warm laughter will be sorely missed, yet fondly remembered by all.
