Walter “Wally” Sadler was born on March 2, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois, and passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, at Olathe Hospice House.
Born and raised in Chicago, Wally graduated from Luther North High School before attending Southwest Texas State University. He was known as a soft-spoken, kind, and generous man who deeply enjoyed traveling and spending time with those he loved. One of his greatest joys was taking cruises with his beloved wife, Karen, creating many cherished memories together through their travels.
Wally is survived by his loving wife, Karen Sadler; his sons, Jay Sadler (Jessica) of Reno, Nevada, and Bradley Sadler (Meagan) of Eudora, Kansas; and his brother, David Sadler (Roberta) of Surprise, Arizona. He is also survived by one niece and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenz and Jean Sadler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Olathe Hospice House, 15310 S. Marion Street, Olathe, Kansas, 66061.
