It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Umberto Anthony Anastasio, age 66. Surrounded by his loving family in his final moments, he was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with loved ones.
Tony was a man who built his life around hard work, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. As the proud owner of APS Installations, he poured his heart into his work and treated every customer like family. His greatest pride was always his children and grandchildren—his legacy, his joy, and his purpose.
Tony shared 26 years of marriage with the love of his life Melody. To see him look at his wife was to understand the true meaning of love. He not only was a proud husband but a fighter overcoming kidney cancer twice.
He had a heart larger than life. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, help anyone in need without hesitation, and do it all with a smile that made him unforgettable. Whether you knew him for five minutes or a lifetime, he made an impression. His warmth, humor, and loyalty were unmatched.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Melody Anastasio, and his children: son: Anthony (Courtney) Anastasio, son: Nick (Jessica) Anastasio, daughter: Deanna (Adam) Hawkins, son: Cody (Megan) Anastasio, daughter: Hope (Nick) Brown, bonus sons: Justin Sloan, and Josh (Kayleena) Sloan.
He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren:
Anthony, Zane, Aaliyah, Aidan, Brysen, Paytin, Arianna, Lorenzo, Willow, Dayton, Ashton, Jace, Joseph, Ace, Violet, Scarlett, Ella, Kaylee, Colton, Cade, Sutton, Blakely, Layne, Levi, Logan, Luke, Briar, and Peyton.
He is also survived by his father Umberto (Betty), sisters Kathryn and Christina, and brother Mark.
He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter Evie Rose, his beloved nephew Zaven, and his mother, Margaret.
Tony had a love for God and everyone knew his motto, "god is good all the time, and all the time god is good"
