Tom Luther

Tommy “Tom” Luther, 73, Olathe, Kansas passed away on Monday, August 17th, 2026 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Tom was born on March 26, 1953 in Paris, Texas to Kenneth and Jewel (Rutherford) Luther. He met Cherry Beadle while attending high school and they were married on July 14, 1973.

Tom earned a Bachelors Degree from MidAmerica Nazarene University.

Tom worked several jobs before going to work for the U.S. Postal Service. He worked over 30 years before he retired.

Tom was a member of College Church of the Nazarene.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cherry; daughter, Kristy Luther; granddaughter, Brooke Luther; great- granddaughter, Oakley Luther; niece, Michelle Thomas and her husband Kevin; sister, Madeline (Luther) Blando and her husband John; mother-in-law, Clara Beadle; brothers-in-law: Jake Beadle, Jim Beadle and his wife Barb; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Tom may be made to On Mission in care of College Church of the Nazarene, 2020 E. Sheridan St. Olathe, KS 66062.
