Suzanne Scott

Suzanne Sorrell Scott , 83, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025. Sue grew up in South Texas but spent most of her life in the Kansas City area. She was an amazing artist , creating beautiful clothes, crafts, sketches and paintings throughout her life as well has having several of her writings published. She loved learning the latest technology, keeping her home “office” professional, playing puzzles and mind games.

Animals were by far her greatest passion in life. She rode dressage horses, adopted countless cats and dogs and would be the first one to help anytime she could.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Hazen and Mary Frank Sorrell, as well as her favorite person of all, her Nana, Aurelia Bustamante. She leaves behind her daughter, Stacey Scott and granddaughters Madison and Kamryn Scott-Kerley.

Her sense of humor, compassion, unconditional love and support will be deeply missed by all, especially her beloved cat Margo who has been adopted by her granddaughter.
