Steve Luis Rosario, age 65, passed away on August 19, 2026 at the University of Kansas Hospital.
He was born on March 26, 1961 in Fort Ord, California.
Steve grew up in a military family and lived in several different places during his youth.
He met his wife, Pam, when they were still in their teens. They were married on January 8, 1983 in Chapman, Kansas.
They moved to Olathe in 1984, where they shared 43 years of marriage and raised two sons.
Steve worked for various architectural and engineering firms throughout his career. He was working as a CAD Technician at Smith and Boucher Engineering at the time of his death.
Steve was loved and respected by most everyone he met. He made many cherished and lifelong friendships along the way.
Steve was a loving, supportive husband and father. He loved spending time with his family. They would often spend time together playing board games or watching movies. He was always there for them and put their needs before his.
Steve’s favorite hobby was model building. He traveled with friends to many model shows throughout the years. His models were works of art and he always came home with awards.
Steve was a devoted Seattle Seahawks fan. He had collected a vast array of Seahawks clothing and memorabilia, mostly thanks to his family that lives in Washington.
Steve is survived by his wife, Pam; his sons Christopher Rosario and Connor Rosario; his mother Monique Rosario; his siblings Richard (Lisa) Rosario, Osvaldo Rosario Jr, and Melody (Mike) Evans: his nieces Savannah Rosario and Elizabeth Rosario.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; his father Osvaldo Rosario: his siblings Jacque Rosario, Ruben Rosario and Lydia Rosario
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Steve may be made to Blood Cancer United.
