In Loving Memory of Stephan Byron Byram

Stephan “Steve” Byron Byram, 80, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, surrounded by family. Born on July 27, 1946, to Bill and Mary Byram, Stephan was a beloved father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend.

Stephan proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era and later in the Army National Guard. An architect and owner of Keepsake Framing, he combined his love of art, creativity, and memory-keeping. He had a special gift for turning everyday objects into meaningful keepsakes, including his unique memorabilia boxes made from cigar boxes.

Stephan lived with energy and curiosity. He ran marathons, raced bicycles, and was a state champion gymnast. He was also a master gardener, best known for his legendary tomato plants, homemade salsa, and spaghetti sauce.

Stephan was truly one of a kind! He was quirky, ornery, stubborn, creative, compassionate, and unapologetically himself. He never met a stranger and could start a conversation with almost anyone. With his mischievous humor, strong opinions, and plenty of unsolicited advice, he left a lasting impression wherever he went.

Beneath it all, Stephan had a generous heart and a deep love for his family. Above all, he was a devoted father and grandfather. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Hake and Debbie Hoban; grandchildren, Julian Reynolds and Keegan Reynolds; brothers, Russel Byram and sister-in-law, Kenna Byram , George Byram and partner, Mara Marin; and many dear family members and friends. Stephen was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Byram and his beloved wife , Nancy Byram.

Stephan had a gift for making everyday moments memorable. He leaves behind stories, handmade treasures, laughter, advice, and love.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
