Join us in honoring the remarkable life of Sima T. Bhakta, a beloved wife, mother, and nurse from Olathe, KS who passed away Friday June 14, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. .
A prayer service will take place at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home on Monday June 17th at 6PM, followed by a service on Tuesday June 18th at 2PM to celebrate her legacy of compassion and selfless love.

Sima, born in Navsari, India in 1977, dedicated over two decades to serving others as a nurse case manager at the University of Kansas Health System. Her warmth and kindness touched countless lives, both professionally and personally.

She cherished her family above all else, finding joy in hosting gatherings and baking for loved ones. Her home was a sanctuary for many youths who found comfort in her nurturing presence.
Despite battling health challenges, Sima's love for her husband Timir and their children Kaden and Elani never wavered. She was a pillar of strength and love within her family unit.


In remembrance of Sima, let us honor the light she brought into the world and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy will continue to shine through the memories and lessons she leaves behind.
