Sandra Sue Arnold, 90, of Osage City, Kansas, passed away peacefully in Olathe, Kansas at Olathe Hospice House. She lived a life rooted in faith, family, and a deep love for children and learning.

Born to Harold and Dorothy Wilson, Sue spent her childhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, where some of her fondest memories included watching the Indy 500 from the rooftop with her family. Those early years helped shape her lifelong joy, curiosity, and sense of togetherness.

Sue was a devoted educator for 40 years, touching countless lives through her passion for teaching and her genuine care for children. Her calling as a teacher was not just a profession, but a reflection of her heart.

A gifted and creative soul, Sue was artistic and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a devoted Christian who loved attending church and participating in church events. Her faith was a steady presence throughout her life.

Sue shared a deep and loving bond with her family. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Dale Arnold, and a loving mother to her children, Brink, Debra, and Bruce. She especially cherished her role as grandmother to Barrett, Kaylie, Brigham, Brandt, Daniel, Dylan, Delanie, Brooke, and Bret, each of whom brought her immense joy.

Sue also had a special bond with animals and was rarely without a beloved dog by her side. She will fondly be remembered for her warm spirit, kind heart, and her signature bright red lipstick that matched her vibrant personality.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Wilson; her husband, Dale Arnold; and her son, Brink Arnold.

Sandra Sue Arnold leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication to teaching that will live on in the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

There will be a celebration of life held in the Spring. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Topeka, Kansas.
