Rose Marie Huff

Rose Marie Huff, 84, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. She was born on December 30, 1940 in Lenexa, Kansas to Aloysius and Mabel (Boehm) Dobbels. Rose was a 1958 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Shawnee, Kansas where she was a cheerleader. She was a lifetime resident of Johnson County Kansas. Some of her favorite things to do were playing cards with family and friends, bowling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and all her siblings along with their spouses and her nieces and nephews.

Rose is survived by children, Larry (Rebecca) Huff, Dennis Huff and Lori Lange, siblings, Butch (Judy) Dobbels, Jane Claar, Loretta Randall, Chris (Mike) Sharp, Joanne (Warren) Gerfen, and Mary Sue Fry, her grandchildren, Brittany Callahan (Ryan), Jamison Lange, Alyssa Huff, Emily Cook (Taylor), Cory Hutchens, Cole Huff, and Cameron Huff, and her great grandsons, Ezra and Arlo Cook.

She was preceded in death by her father, Aloysius Dobbels, mother, Mabel Fry, her son, Scott Huff, and her daughter-in-law, Beki Crowl-Huff.

The family will receive guests for a Memorial, Celebration of Life from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Penwell-Gabel's Olathe Chapel.
