Listen to Obituary

Ronald Leslie Vincent, of Leawood, KS, and beloved husband of Rhonda Vincent, passed away on Sept 29, 2025 surrounded by Rhonda and family. He was 72 years old. Ron was peacefully & beautifully escorted by his "Pop" into his heavenly eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior forever.

Second to his love for his Savior, the love of his life and lifelong Sweetheart was always his wife Rhonda. Ron & Rhonda shared 46 years total. There was nothing Ron loved more than his family.

At the age of 18, July 1972 during early months of dating Rhonda, Ron gave his heart to the Lord. He was led to the Lord by his "Pop" Lyle, his future father-in-law. He renewed his love for the Lord in recent years and truly loved the Lord with all his heart. His joy was in the knowledge of meeting His Savior. He had no fear of death. He never stopped believing in his healing whether in this mortal life, or in life with his Savior; Ron had unwavering confidence in God's loving care, wisdom, and perfect faithfulness. He was a member of Family Worship Center and faithfully worshipped every Sunday morning, evening and Wednesday evening Bible Studies. Participating in the Bible outreach ministry to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ brought him a new joy.

We are so grateful for him demonstrating his love for Jesus. We are so grateful for the time--years actually--that God blessed us with, exceeding medical expectation with a good mind and spirit.

We are so grateful for his outrageous quick wit being the hilarious life of every family gathering. We have many wonderful memories.

Each of our children inherited many great qualities of their Dad, what made him wonderful. Our youngest son Aaron inherited his unique intelligent Quick Wit that always entertains us. Our oldest son Ryan inherited his Love & talent for playing baseball. Our Beautiful daughter Kelli inherited his smarts & love for numbers & finances. These are only a few of his strong points, things he loved and things we loved about him.

Ron had a passion for American History. Whether Historical Presidents, Civil War, or Historical events, his accurate quick knowledge was impressive. That knowledge stayed with him until the end.

Ron was preceded in death by his mother Delores Vincent & his Ma & Pop Lyle & Betty Jones. He is survived by his wife Rhonda, Leawood, KS; Daughter Kelli (Daniel) Ennis, Lees Summit, MO; Sons Ryan (Angela) & Aaron Vincent, Olathe, KS & Overland Park, KS; and four wonderful grandchildren.

Ron was laid to rest at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Stanley, KS.

Ron would appreciate any donations to KIDS 'n Missions, (Elton & Gail Wells) Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
