Richard Sheriff passed away on September 3, 2026, in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born on April 14, 1970, in Georgetown, Guyana.
Richard will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. He is survived by his father, Raymond Sheriff, and his mother, Bibi Sheriff. He also leaves behind his brothers, Mo Sheriff, Reza Sheriff, Asif Sheriff, and Bobby Sheriff, as well as his sister, Waheeda Muti and husband Anthony, nephew Rocco Muti and niece Stella Muti. Their love and connection remain a lasting part of his memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 12, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062.
