Peter Van Brunt, age 48, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2023 in Overland Park, KS.
Peter was born and raised in Elmira, a son of Dick Van Brunt and the late Lindy (Murray) Van Brunt.
In addition to his father, he is survived by daughters, Anna and Kate; siblings and their spouses, Rick and Jennifer Van Brunt of South Carolina, Mike and Jackie Van Brunt of Horseheads; nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Jillian, Leonard, Sarah, Kennedy, and Nathan; uncle Tom Murray of Elmira with wife, Peg; aunt Kit Flanagan of Trumbull, CT with husband Steve; and several cousins.
Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 9:00am-11:00am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at St. Patrick's Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
