Patricia Louise Rice

 Patricia Louise Rice, a beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed away on August 9, 2025, in her hometown of Olathe, Kansas. 

Born on November 22, 1953, Pat lived a life marked by her fun-loving spirit and commitment to creating memorable experiences for others through her work in corporate events. Pat utilized her creativity and organizational skills to bring countless visions to life, making each occasion a unique celebration. Pat is remembered not only for her professional contributions but also for her warm personality and loving nature. She cherished her family deeply. 

She is survived by her devoted siblings, Jeannie (Al) Rolf, Gary (Mimi) Verhaeghe, Conni ( Gary) Owen, and Michael (Loretta) Verhaeghe and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her vibrant legacy. 

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Rice, and her brother, Larry with whom she shared many cherished moments.

The impact of Pat's life can be felt by all who had the privilege to know her. Her laughter and enthusiasm will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding them always of the joy she brought into their lives. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and boundless creativity that will continue to inspire those who remember her.
