Patricia Ann Rettig

Patricia Ann Rettig, 81, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2026. 

Pat was born on May 9, 1945, in Leavenworth, Kansas, to Lloyd and Katherine Finneran. She dedicated 20 years of service to Leavenworth High School, where she worked as a secretary. 

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, John.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Scott) Hedge and Lisa (David) Haines; and her grandchildren, Bailey and Brayden Haines.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am at Leavenworth National Cemetery on Monday, November 2, 2026. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pat’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association Heart of America Chapter, Good Samaritan Society, or Good Shepherd Hospice. 

Pat will be lovingly remembered by her family and all those whose lives she touched.
