Pamela Sue Mayfield

Pamela Mayfield, 73, of Fritch, Texas, passed away on July 12, 2026, in Fritch, Texas.Pamela was born on June 19, 1953, in Jefferson City, Missouri, to Oscar Byrd and Verna Byrd. She dedicated many years of her career as a book binder for Herff Jones, where she was known for her hard work and dedication.Pamela will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her friendly spirit, and her ability to make those around her smile. She loved spending time playing bingo, gardening, and cherished the friendships and memories she made along the way.She is survived by her sons, Michael Byrd (Kira King) and Tony Mayfield (Jami Mayfield); her beloved grandson, Thomas Mayfield; and her dogs, Bean and Sassy.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terry Mayfield; her father, Oscar Byrd; her mother, Verna Byrd; and her sister, Shelley Keith.Pamela’s kindness, laughter, and love for her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
