Pamela Kay Christensen

March 27, 1962 — April 23, 2025

Pamela Kay Christensen, 63, of Olathe, KS passed away April 23, 2025

Pam was born March 27th, 1962, in Johannesburg South Africa to the late Ralph & Helen Christensen. Pam is survived by her loving children Samuel Quilici & Javina Barbernitz, her grandchildren Hannah, Dylan, Mia & Kaison, her lifelong partner Roy Quilici, her brothers Chris & Charles and her many nieces & nephews. Her legacy began with her first breath on South African soil as a missionary kid. Her faith in God was the foundation of everything she accomplished. Pam's journey in life took her all over the world just as her education did. She began her university education at the school of Witwatersrand in South Africa for medical school. Her passions changed when she realized that what she truly felt called to was more within the heart & soul leading her to study psychology and social work in the United States. She took tremendous pride in being a Weaton grad following in the legacy of her siblings and parents. Continuing her education at Emporia State University, she became a social worker spending her days helping those who needed her help the most. her faith was the ever-present force calling her to minister in ways that challenged the social norm of male dominant ministry. Her ordination with Kingsway fellowship opened doors to a new frontier of ministry. Missions work was never far from her heart, leading her to follow in her parent's footsteps Carrying the message of Jesus to people in Argentina, South Africa, Belgium, and here at home. Guiding people to salvation and a faith in her savior lord Jesus was her focus in life and her faith never wavered. Pam's love for her children was unstoppable & her passion for their success was legendary. It can nearly be said that there was no prouder Gaga in this world than she. She made a special effort to spend unique time with each of her grandchildren over the years and always had a way of making them feel special. She is deeply missed by all who knew her. If you are looking for a way to share your gratitude for her impact in your life, pass along a kind gesture to a stranger.
