Olivia Ann Segura, a beloved sister, devoted child care provider, and passionate gardener, peacefully passed away on October 14, 2025, in Olathe, Kansas. Born on June 16, 1951, in Kansas City, Kansas, Olivia embraced life with kindness and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on those who were fortunate to know her.
Olivia was known by all who met her for her kindness, patience, and genuine concern for others. She had an open heart and a ready smile, always willing to lend a listening ear or an encouraging word. Her deep faith in Jehovah was the foundation of her life, guiding her every action and inspiring those around her to draw closer to Him. She devoted her life to showing love—not only to her family and friends but also to the many people she met through her ministry. Olivia’s warmth and gentle spirit left an imprint on everyone she encountered.
Olivia looked forward with eager anticipation to the day she would see her dear Robert again in the paradise that Jehovah promises—a world free of pain, sorrow, and death. Until that day, her memory will remain a source of comfort and strength to all who knew and loved her. Her family and spiritual brothers and sisters take solace in knowing that Olivia is safe in Jehovah’s memory and that, in the new world to come, she will awaken to everlasting peace and joy.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Olivia was deeply passionate about gardening. She found solace and joy in tending to her plants, creating beautiful landscapes that brought delight to her community. Her green thumb and artistic flair resulted in vibrant gardens that flourished, much like the happiness she spread among her friends and loved ones.
Olivia is survived by her devoted sister, Rose (Greg) Daniel, her brothers Jaime (Donna) Avila, Emilio (Della) Avila, Bill Avila, and Mario (Annette) Avila her spiritual sisters Robin Harvey and Karen who will remember her not only for her professional dedication but also for her gentle spirit and caring nature. Olivia’s legacy of love, compassion, and joy will live on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
