Natasha Eva Baker, 36, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on July 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, public service, and unwavering devotion to her family and community.
A devoted and proud mother, Natasha was the heart and soul of her three children: Aubrianna Barnes (18), Tyler Barnes, Jr. (17), and Isabella Baker (13). Whether cheering from the sidelines at wrestling, band events, softball, track, or football games, Natasha was always present—wholehearted, vocal, and full of support.
Natasha’s compassionate spirit defined her career as a caregiver for adults with intellectual disabilities. With genuine kindness and dedication, she enriched the lives of those in her care, offering strength, dignity, and friendship. She was known by all who knew her as a friend to all—her laughter infectious, her resilience inspiring, and her ability to see and uplift others deeply affecting.
She is survived by her children; her mother, Wendy Herrera; sister, Faith Herrera; brothers, Eli Herrera and Josh Van Petten; grandmother, Sharon Sherwood; and her beloved niece, Aurora. Natasha’s love extended far beyond immediate family—touching everyone fortunate enough to know her.
