Nancy Lee Brune

Nancy Lee Brune of Osawatomie, Kansas passed on Thursday June 18, 2026 at the age of 88. Nancy was born in Kansas City and was the oldest of four, including Joe, Bob, and Ernie. They grew up in Sugar Creek, Missouri. Nancy also spent several years living in Denver and at the Lake of the Ozarks before retiring to Osawatomie. Nancy married Robert (Bob) Brune in 1968 and they were married until the time of his death in 2001. Nancy enjoyed gardening and rarely was she without her cup of black coffee. Nancy is survived by her brother Bob of Casa Grande, Arizona and her two sons Vic Martyn of Zion, Illinois and Rob Brune of Spring Hill, Kansas.

The service will be held on June 29, 2026 at 3 PM followed by a celebration of life at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home located at 14275 S Black Bob Road, Olathe Kansas 66062.
