Michela Ann Burton

Michela Ann Burton, 87, of Olathe, Kansas went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 4, 2026.

Michela was born August 26, 1939 in Wichita, Kansas to Derwood and Christina Paschall.

Following High School, Michela married and had three children. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved to decorate, cook and keep a well organized clean home. She was an avid reader and did a crossword puzzle almost every day. Michela later used her amazing organizational skills as an administrative assistant at several companies.

Michela loved the Lord and was a member of the Nezperce Christian Church of Nezperce, Idaho. She was a true prayer warrior who prayed for her children and grandchildren every day.

Michela was preceded in death by her first husband John Cyrus Tennery, and later, her husband William Burton, her parents, and brother Bryce Butler. Those left to cherish her memory include her three children, John Cyrus Tennery Jr., Christina Lynn Duke and her husband Kevin, and Todd Michael Tennery. Her eight grandchildren, Jason Tennery, Alison (Tennery) Owens and her husband Christopher, Trevor Tennery, Daniel Duke and his wife Roxanne, Katherine Duke, Elizabeth (Duke) Gerringer and her husband Collin, Rebekah Duke, and Michela (Tennery) Dooley. Her eight great grandchildren, Josie Metsinger, Layla Duke, Colter Gerringer, McKenzie Gerringer, Bennett Gerringer, Carrington Gerringer, Violet Dooley, and Charlotte Dooley.
