In Loving Memory of Mike Hemming, Jr.
With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Mike Hemming, Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, proud veteran, beloved son, cherished friend, and brother.
Born on July 25, 1959, in Worcester, Massachusetts, Mike was the son of Mike Hemming, Sr. and Virginia Panneton. Above all else, Mike was a loving, dedicated father who cherished his family. His warmth, guidance, and endless support shaped their lives and will remain their greatest comfort.
Mike honorably served his country in the United States Army, where he excelled as a skilled machine specialist operator. Known for his precision and dedication, he was awarded multiple medals for his exemplary service and earned a stellar reputation as a perfect marksman. His commitment to duty and country was a source of great pride for his family.
Beyond his military service, Mike was a man of many passions and possessed a remarkably generous spirit. He was happiest when he was fishing, camping, or hosting a family barbecue. He also had a deep love for classic automobiles. Known for his kind heart and skilled hands, Mike was always the first to roll up his sleeves and lend his time, tools, and expertise to help others.
Mike is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lori Hemming, his daughter, Antonia Hemming, his sons, Michael Hemming III, Harrison Hemming, and his grandson, Henry Hemming. His legacy of love, service, and kindness will live on forever in their hearts and in the hearts of the many friends he helped along the way.
