Martha Lea White

October 7, 1940 — May 16, 2025

Martha Lea White, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2025, at the age of 84.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th from 1:30 - 2:30 pm at Blue Valley Church - Ridgeview Campus, 1325 S. Ridgeview Rd, Olathe, KS 66062. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 pm. A private family burial will take place the following day at Rothville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born in Kirksville, Missouri, on October 7, 1940, Martha was the daughter of Donald and Virginia Wolf. She married the love of her life, Marvin Leon Lambert, on February 28, 1959. Together they ran a family farm and raised four daughters. After Marvin’s early passing, Martha continued managing the farm with resilience and strength until she later moved closer to her daughters.

Martha had a passion for gardening, especially her vibrant flower beds filled with countless varieties – roses being her favorite. A devoted Christian, she found great joy in her faith and her bible study group. Her unwavering love, dedication and faith touched everyone who knew her.

Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She loved each of them deeply and unconditionally and will continue to guide and support them from above.

Martha is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Virginia Wolf; her brother, Thomas Wolf; and her beloved husband, Marvin Lambert. She is survived by her daughters: Karen Heldstab (Chuck), Debbie Campbell (Howard), Lori Nickell (Larry), and Michelle Allegri (Mark); her grandchildren: Tyler, Jordan, Clayton, Lydia, Ava, Matthew, Nicholas, Ella, and Lukas; and her great grandchildren: Nikki and Jackson. She also leaves behind her siblings Vera Lang, Patricia Cannel, and Earl Wolf.

Martha will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her boundless love, tireless devotion, and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.
