Marlys Rae Harris, 84, of Olathe, KS, passed away on June 3, 2024 at Olathe Medical Center.
She was born on June 10, 1939 to Lawrence and Lillian (Trojahn) Klinker in Hartley, IA.
On May 28th, 1960, she married Arnold L. Harris, and they made their home in Omaha, NE; then Salina, KS; and finally Olathe, KS.
Marlys enjoyed caring for her family and friends, bowling, square dancing, cards with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Ladies Reading Circle, Wagstaff, St. James Court Committee, Bereavement Group, and participated in Bible Study for 27 years.
Marlys is survived by her brother, Terry Klinker (Sue), children Brenda Jones (Steve), Michelle Sagartz, and Bradley Harris (Linda), grandchildren, Lindsey & Ryan; Matt, Anna, Jacob, & Rachel, and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Lillian; husband, Arnold; brother, Dennis; daughter, Kimberly; great grandsons, AJ & Kade.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
