Mark Edward Curl, a beloved husband and father, passed away on November 21, 2025, in his hometown of Olathe, Kansas, at the age of 60. Mark was born on July 6, 1965, in Olathe, where he spent his early years and laid the foundation for a life dedicated to family, friendship, and community.
Mark was known for his kind demeanor and warm personality, traits that endeared him to everyone he met. He graduated from Olathe North High School in 1983. Mark worked at Stanion Electrical for over 35 years where he was admired for his strong work ethic and dedication to his colleagues.
Beyond his professional life, Mark had a passion for all sports including racing, bowling, softball as well as camping and concerts. His hobbies provided him with joy and excitement throughout the years. His zest for life was evident in everything he did, and he shared that enthusiasm with his family and friends.
Mark took great pride in his involvement with the Special Olympics, where he not only served as a coach, but actively supported and celebrated the achievements of athletes. His commitment to this cause reflected his compassionate nature and desire to uplift those around him.
Mark was a devoted Christian and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Olathe where he volunteered for anything need to support the cause.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela, and his loving son, Michael, who were central to his life and happiness. Mark's legacy will undoubtedly live on through the love and memories shared with his family and dear friends.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Carolyn Curl. Their love and guidance shaped the man he became, and he carried their values with him throughout his life.
