Marilyn C. White

Marilyn Catherine White, 83 of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away on January 8, 2025 at Brookdale Rosehill.

 She was born on April 6, 1941 to Andrew and Kathryn (Raible) White in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

 Marilyn graduated in 1959 from Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas.

 She continued her education by receiving her degree in nursing at St. Mary’s College in Leavenworth, Kansas. Through a long nursing career at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas, she met and enjoyed all of her new and old friends.

 Marilyn is survived by a loving extended family, including her many cousins, especially Gene Rogers, Carolyn Cloughley and Linda Gallant. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Kathryn White.

 Services are pending.

 Memorials are suggested to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Altus, Arkansas and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
