A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, teacher, and friend.
Born and raised in St. Marks, Kansas, moving on to St. Mary of the Plains College where she graduated with a teaching degree. Her marriage to William Kuhlman gave her two children, Julie and David, whom she adored. After raising her children, Marilyn returned to the Wichita area where she built a career she loved, teaching special needs students.
Marilyn's Catholic faith was a cornerstone in her life and brought her comfort throughout the years. Her grandchildren, lottery scratchers, Notre Dame football, and an ice-cold Pepsi also brought her joy.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Alfreda Andra, infant sister Donna, and brother Leo. She is survived by her sister Carol Bailey, sister Mary Kay Raple (Ron), and brother Mark Andra (Jeanne). She is also survived by her children Julie (Luke), and David (Leticia), and her grandchildren Kaitlyn, Emma, Kinsey, Joshua, Jeremy, and Jackson. She also loved many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private service at St. Mark Catholic Church: flowers can be sent there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mark Catholic Church.
