Marcia R. Dresch, 73, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away at home on April 19, 2017. Self-taught, she transcribed court reporter notes and later retired from Faith Village where she worked as a secretary.
For many years, Marcia volunteered at Hope Care Center, a residential facility for AIDS patients; a place where her life was enriched by the love she gave and received.
She leaves behind her brother, Ron Loman; her daughter, Angie Dresch-Ramphal and her husband Sandy; son Scott Horton; three grandchildren: Adam, Trent, and Nate.
Marcia wished for all memorial contributions to go to K.C. Hospice House, on Wornall, where a dear friend received quality care. As per her request, the memorial service will be private.
