Lois Annette Weston, born on November 2, 1942, in Indianola, Iowa, was a dedicated minister and beloved matriarch who touched the hearts of many throughout her remarkable life. She peacefully passed away on August 19, 2025, in Overland Park, Kansas.
A proud graduate of Mid America Nazarene University, Lois earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Religion and went on to devote her life to the ministry, where her passion for helping others blossomed. Her work within the community was characterized by kindness, compassion, and a true desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those she encountered.
Lois leaves behind her cherished sons, Steve (Jennifer) Weston and Andrew (Debra) Weston, who carry forward her legacy of love and service. She was also a loving grandmother and great-grandmother, whose nurturing presence and wise words will be dearly missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Weston, her beloved daughter, Melody Armfield, and son-in-law, Daryl Armfield. Their loss is felt profoundly by those who remain and vividly illustrates the bond of love and family that Lois treasured deeply.
Lois Annette Weston will be remembered not only for her spiritual guidance and unwavering faith but also for her deep love for her family and friends. Her memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will endure in the hearts of her family.
