Judy Owen Nyemaster

Judy Owen Nyemaster, 79, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. She was born on May 29, 1944 in Iowa to Lowell and Marjorie (Hendershott) Owen.
Judy loved being surrounded by people and sought out groups like the Eastern Star, PEO, Red Hats, church groups and more. She could light up a room at any event and often rescued people and animals. She was most proud of starting college when her oldest child started and finished along with her youngest child.
Judy is survived by her children, Jon Nyemaster, Heather Davis Richards and Nicole Hunter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Nyemaster.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, June 26th, 2023, at Penwell-Gabel's Olathe Chapel with a reception following until 6:00pm.
Flowers can be sent to the funeral home. We request all flowers and clothing be in Judy's favorite colors of yellow, red and purple. We look forward to celebrating her life with you.
