Joy Rhodes Ahlgren, 86, of Prairie Village, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2014. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to your favorite charity.
Joy was born February 13, 1928 to Alfonso and Amelia Rhodes. She is a graduate of Wyandotte High School, and enjoyed crafts throughout her life. She married Warren (Al) on October 17, 1953. Joy was a member of Countryside Christian Church. She was preceded in death by Warren and is survived by Garry and Marlene Ahlgren and their kids Erik, Austin, Ryan and Nate, and Richard and Tina Ahlgren-Beckendorf and their children Andrew and Georgiana, and her two sisters Loraine Nofsinger and Ruth Pasewark.
