John Michael Pippert

John Michael Pippert, of Overland Park, went to be with his Heavenly Father July 7, 2025, following a short illness and heart failure.

He was born to Ronald and Mary Pippert on June 27, 1967, in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He was the second of two sons. John attended Brookridge Elementary followed by Blue Valley Middle School and High School, in Overland Park (Stanley), Kansas.

In his early years John participated in the YMCA Indian Guides with his father and in Cub Scouts where his mother was Den Mother. He was also active in the Presbyterian Church of Stanley, where the family were charter members, and contributed to the finishing of the first permanent church building.

John lived his entire life in the areas of Overland Park, Gardner, and Olathe, Kansas, where he spent several years working for Sprint and Olathe Ford. John loved animals, in particular his pet beagle Scooter and his cat Callie.

John is survived by his father Ronald of Overland Park; brother Robert (Bob) and his wife Karen of Monument, CO; nephew Matthew Pippert and his wife Hannah of Lawrence, KS; niece Brenna Pippert of Monument, CO; and niece Jessica Hunt and her husband Zachary of Boise, ID. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss him.

In death, John was preceded by his mother Mary, whom he has joined in their heavenly home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
