James Lynch

James "Jim" P. Lynch, 54, of Shawnee, passed away at home December 3, 2016. He was born on July 31, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Joseph and Helen (Curnes) Lynch. He graduated from Belton High, Belton, MO in 1980 and most recently made his home in Shawnee, KS.

Jim enjoyed a long, fulfilling career with PRP Wine International, and he spent his most recent years working for Johnson County Limo. Jim was a food aficionado; he had a passion for cooking and loved to share that with others.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sister Judith Lynch, a member of the Sisters of St. Francis of Savannah, MO.

He is survived by his son, Joseph Lynch, daughter, Megan Lynch; siblings, Joanne (Mike) Brosnahan of Lee's Summit, MO, Nancy (Lee) Lowe of Longboat Key, FL, and Peggy Clemmer of Germantown, TN, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The children are respectfully asking for donations for funeral expenses in lieu of flowers. Make checks payable to Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Black Bob Rd. Olathe, KS 66062.
