Jade Luna Moon Thompson, 32, of Gardner, Kansas, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025. She was born on November 8, 1992 in Aurora, Colorado to Daniel and Anissa (Nesbitt) Thompson.

Jade Luna Moon Thompson, a spirited mountain girl with a deep love for football and a vibrant personality, will be remembered for her adventurous spirit and caring nature. Her passions included rock hounding and prospecting, conquering 14,000-foot peaks, cheering for her favorite teams, and cherishing time with family. A devoted sister, she took exceptional care of her sibling during babysitting duties, teaching them to shower for the first time and preparing the most delightful cups of Earl Grey tea with milk. An unmatched hiking partner, she shared a unique bond on the trails, matching pace and capability while instilling a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, high standards in hobbies, and a refined taste for tea. Her love for rocks and nature left an indelible mark on the sisters she left behind.

Jade's was born in Aurora Colorado, moved to Kansas when she was 12 yrs old. Jade would spend her summers in Fairplay, Colorado where she moved back to after graduating High school. Her kindness was unmatched. Jade never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a helping hand. She would always help anyone who asked…and even when they didn’t know they needed it.

Jade is survived by her parents, Daniel (Tammera) Thompson and Anissa (Bruce) Price, Sister’s Kendra Thompson, Emma Fowler (Price), Ellyn Thompson’s, Daughter Sage Lyons, Boyfriend Cooper Johns.

Jade's light, though gone too soon, will continue to shine through the lives she touched. Her laughter, strength, and boundless compassion leave a legacy that cannot be measured. May her adventurous soul find peace among the mountains she loved so dearly, and may those who knew her carry her memory forward with the same kindness and courage she showed every day.
