Helga A. Belluomini

Helga A. Belluomini, 83, recently of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026. She was born on August 5, 1942 in Germany to Karl and Valentina (Sebert) Bendisch.

She was one of 7 children born in Wurzburg, Germany. She met her husband while he was in the military and came to America when she was 23 years old. She became an American citizen in 1972 and easily assimilated to American life. She held several different positions, including working in a factory, waitressing and later in life spent many years working with race horses in the Chicago area.

Helga is survived by her loving daughter, Manuela Belluomini, grandson Dante, his wife Taylor, a grandchild Luca, and her siblings Karin and Herbert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Karl and Valentina Bendisch, her siblings Hans, Siegfried, Gerd and Maria.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Villa St. Francis Catholic Care Center in Olathe, KS at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, with a visitation immediately following until 11:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Helga’s memory be made to Villa St. Francis, 16600 W 126th St, Olathe, KS 66062.
