Glenna K. Blurton, 68, was called home on February 12, 2026. She was born on May 26, 1958, in Oswego, Kansas, to Aldra Marie “Heady” Blurton.
During her thirties, Glenna was a dedicated employee at Zarda, where she worked for many years while faithfully raising her two children as a single mother. Determined to build a strong future for her family, she attended Wright Business School and earned her certification in Accounting. Her perseverance and hard work led her to join the Accounts Receivable Department at Farmland Foods, where she continued to demonstrate her commitment and professionalism.
Glenna found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, her church family, and her many friends. She had a generous and nurturing spirit, often providing childcare for single working mothers in her spare time. Glenna had a special love for caring for her plants and was an avid collector of Japanese fans. She was also especially proud of her extensive collection of elephant knickknacks, which she treasured dearly.
Glenna was preceded in death by her mother, Aldra “Heady” Blurton; her grandparents, Darlene Blurton and Edward Blurton; and her brother, Anthony Blurton.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children, Terrance and LaEllen Blurton; her grandchildren, Raena, Rephael, Michael, and Amik; her great-grandchildren, Rahniya, Ralanii, and Rephael II; her sister, La Dean Edwards; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Glenna’s legacy of love, strength, and quiet generosity will live on in all who knew her.
