George Stanley Szworc

George “Jerzy Stanislaw” Sworzc – Feburary 11, 1938 – July 16, 2025

Not just another name to etch in history, rather his impact strikes much deeper, he was:

-Independent, never asked for anything expect for the occasssional, “Hole in the head.”

-Resourceful, someone who was able to use the Federal Governments resources to help him court his Spanish beauty Ramona,

-George and Ramona were each-others sunrise and sunset and he remained a devoted husband of 64 years,

-A father of five wonderful children, all unique, and all casting different flashes of beauty in this world,

-Grandfather of nine, spread across the globe, gifted with a broad and hopeful vision of what life can be if they step forward bravely with love verse hate, and fight through adversity, I know he hoped and believed they would love people not things, and use things not people.

-He also welcomed to the world three beautiful great grandchildren, one with a voice that even George could hear. While distance across the globe posed its challenge for the youngest two, it was bridged without complaint. These young worldly souls are last chapter in George’s life, adding further beauty to ours.

Thank you to all who set aside time and distance to embrace this important moment. You fostered his pride and dignity through his most vulnerable moments.

It is a testament to George’s legacy, that he demonstrated an abilty to lift himself out of adversity and to build a life for this family. Look at the beauty he created, which surrounded him these final days.

Cheers to you George Szworc, a life well lived, we love you and miss you already.
