Gary was a respected Loan Officer for financial institutions for the majority of his professional career. His dedication to his work was evident in the way he served the community, providing reliable and steadfast guidance to his clients. In addition to his banking career, he also made valuable contributions during his time employed by the University of Kansas Medical Center. Gary applied his knowledge and skills effectively, earning the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

He held a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from CMSU, which served as a foundation for his successful career. Gary was not just a professional; he was a compassionate individual who valued his connections with others. He loved football, golf, gardening, and was an amazing home chef.

Gary is remembered lovingly by his companion, Yuliya Rockwell, his stepdaughter Nina, her husband Brett, granddaughter Katherine, and his stepson Oleg and his wife Yenifer. He left behind his father Patrick and two brothers. His bonds with his loved ones reflect the warmth and kindness he consistently extended to those around him.

A memorial service to honor Gary's life will be held at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, located at 14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, Kansas, on June 16, 2025. The service will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by an additional gathering from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
