Frank Stanley Higgins, 73, of Leawood, passed away on February 2, 2022 at Olathe Hospice House.
He was born on June 6, 1948 to James and Jacqueline (Galatis) Higgins at Kansas City, Missouri.
Frank served our country in the U.S. Army, and served one tour during the Vietnam War in 1968-1969.
On October 15, 1973, he married CharLaine Boehm, and they made their home in Lenexa, Kansas.
Frank was an avid football fan and particularly enjoyed military history.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, CharLaine, daughter, Cheryl (Brian) Wichman, son-in-law, Dennis Richards, grandchildren Alex and Sam Wichman, and Codi and Katie Richards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Angela Richards.
Services will be held at a later date at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association, or to the PTSD Foundation of America .
