Donald Gene White Sr., 88, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 26th at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens in Olathe, KS. A luncheon/reception to follow at 6407 W. 147th Terr., Overland Park, KS 66223.
He was born on August 3, 1933 in Kansas City, KS to Jesse and Helen (Cobb) White.
Donald graduated from Rosedale High School in 1952. He was a veteran, and served in the Army during the Korean War. He then worked in the Printing Industry as a four color pressman till retirement.
He was preceded in death by his father Jesse, mother Helen, sister Carol and brother Jim.
Donald is survived by his loving wife Carol (Jacobs) White of 68 years, son Donald Gene White Jr., daughter Wendy A. (White) Oakes, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sister Sandy (White) Riedl, half-brothers Jesse and Danny White.
