Donald R. Brown
February 20, 1953 — July 11, 2025
Donald R. Brown, 72, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at home on July 11, 2025 after battling Alzheimer’s. He was surrounded by family and loved ones.
He worked as a draftsman and eventually Project Manager for the companies Pritchard, Black & Veatch, and Burns & McDonell before retiring in 2020.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil R. & Lucy Jean Brown, and his wife of 49 years, Karen S. Brown.
He is survived by his children Stephanie (Bryan) Cummings and Nicholas Brown; granddaughters Abigail Cummings and Eliza Cummings; sister, Cathy (Sheryl Westad) Brown; brother, Dennis (Peggy) Brown; many nieces & nephews; and dogs, Daisy & Bertie.
The family would like to invite all family and friends to a reception following the service at Don’s home.
