Denzil L. Thurston
Denzil L. Thurston, 80, of Olathe, KS, passed away Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009 at Olathe Medical Center following a courageous battle with brain cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
Denzil is survived by his loving wife of 58 years; Mary, daughters; Shirley (Paul) Fielder of KCMO, Rita (Randy) Robinson of Henderson, N.V., son; Robert Thurston of KCMO, grandchildren; Ryan & Kyle Spencer, Jeff (Vanessa) Moloney, Diane (Billy) Long, brothers Jim and Melvin Thurston, and sisters Carol Severs and Barbara Byrd.
He will be missed by all of the friends that he made along life's journey here on earth.
