Dana G. Smith, 86, of Charleston, WV formerly of Olathe, KS passed Thurs. Dec. 6, 2018. Visitation will be 11-12PM Wed. Dec. 19 at Penwell Gabel's Olathe Chapel, followed by the funeral service at 12PM. Burial will follow at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Dana was a wonderful father and loving husband. He served in the Army during the Korean War. Then went on to be a salesman and manager in the hardware business.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Colleen R. Smith; his son Jay E. Smith; his parents; and an older brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Joy M. Ballard, and her husband, Michael J. Ballard.
