D Glass

Floyd “D” Glass passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

He was born September 9, 1949 in Sweetwater, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne of the home, sons Chris Glass and Dallas Glass (Shanda), step-sons Matthew (Melisa) Gower and Daniel (Laura) Gower and eight of the best grandkids in the entire universe – Caitlyn Glass, Savannah Gower, Connell Glass, Anthony Gower, Beckham Gower, Lincoln Glass, Ariella Gower and Elsie Gower. D cherished each and every moment spent with his family. He is also survived by his sister, Judi Chandler, Oklahoma; his brother Gary preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held on March 7, 2026 at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S. Black Bob Rd., Olathe, Kansas from 1:00-2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00 pm followed by burial at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 Black Bob Rd., Olathe, Kansas.
