Cynthia Jolene Laskowski

Cynthia Jolene Laskowski, 64, of Roeland Park, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born on December 14, 1960 to Jimmie and Wilma "Jeanne" (McMillin) Campbell.

Cindy grew up in Roeland Park, Kansas and was the youngest of three siblings. She was a loving mother and always put others first. She worked tirelessly in various customer service roles during her career, with over 20 years of dedicated service each at both JCPenney and Home Depot.

She found joy in crafting, furniture restoration, and repurposing forgotten treasures by transforming the old and discarded into something new. She also enjoyed being in the kitchen, with a special love for baking. Her coffee cake was always in high demand.

Cindy is survived by her son Matthew Laskowski and his wife, Kasey, of Olathe, Kansas; son Adam Laskowski of Mission, Kansas; daughter Amy Laskowski of Roeland Park, Kansas; former spouse Stanley Laskowski of Kansas City, Kansas; sister Gloria Butler of Overland Park, Kansas; many nieces and nephews, and three granddogs. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie; mother, Jeanne; and brother Jimmie John Campbell, Jr.

A celebration of life for family and friends is being planned and will be held at a later date.
