Chris Kevin Roberts, born on February 24, 1956, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, in Spring Hill, Kansas. He lived a life filled with quiet strength and intellect, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege to know him.
Chris was known for his brilliant mind, with an innate ability to fix anything that came his way. His practical skills were matched only by his distinctive style; he favored a wardrobe of flannel shirts, t-shirts, ball caps, and jeans, an ensemble that reflected both comfort and his low-key personality. With a closet full of flannel shirts, Chris embraced simplicity in the most endearing way.
Beyond his talents and attire, Chris had a dry sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him. His approachable demeanor made him a cherished friend and confidant. In his leisure time, Chris found joy in fishing, often relishing the tranquil moments spent by the water.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his beloved wife Kim, his son Joel, and his daughter Hayley Lockhart. His memory will continue to live on through the cherished moments shared with them.
Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Quentin and Betty Roberts, who undoubtedly shaped the man he became.
A visitation will be held on May 8, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home located at 14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, Kansas, 66062.
